When sending a ring size to a jeweller care should be taken that you have been measured correctly. Not every jewellers measuring tools measure the same - there can be a size difference of up to a size. This is especially a problem when sizing a titanium ring. Rather ask the jeweller to measure your ring size and then to tell you what the inside diameter of the ring is. He should be using an accurate tool like a Vernier scale and 2 decimal points. Ring sizes that we have not measured cannot be guaranteed. If the ring is in gold, silver or platinum then a local jeweller will be able to resize it without a problem.
